Vintage Glass Blue

I have a group of nine light blue, vintage, blown glass plates. The effect even prior to the 1950th?

Three (3) is 10 1 / 2 ", six (6) is 7 1 / 4 ". Each has a beautiful swirl design. All have pontils, folded over edges, and tiny bubbles in the glass. (There was a second plate and a small bowl w / handles but they were severely damaged.) I was told that they can be BLENKO, but have been unable to confirm this by looking at their website, although they have similar dishes in the same color, but without swirl pattern. Any ideas or suggestions to help you identify these diskede would be useful.

Why have different colors in a glass painting seems to have different depths?

When I look at stained glass windows, I notice that warmer colors seem to pop out, and cooler colors appear to be farther back. What causes this and why the effect occurs only in the windows themselves, and never in photographs, even when viewed on a computer screen (gives images a back-lit power)?

Actually it does in photos and graphics. Its a common technique artists use. Warm colors pop out and pushed to the foreground. Cool colors recede. It is more remarkable, sometimes in colored glass because light illuminating pieces, making it pop out more, give it another dimension, paintings and other images not specifically when antique and used clear glass and saturated colors.
